Dr. Jothi Clara Michael has more than 37 years of experience and is a pioneering force in the healthcare sector, predominantly in nursing and healthcare consulting. She is a notable alumni member of the highly esteemed Christian Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) in Vellore.
Dr Clara has continually risen to leadership roles across academics and clinical nursing, both in India and abroad. She is best known for her enterprising spirit and relentless dedication to excellence, and her influence in healthcare frameworks, project implementation, clinical protocols, and service excellence.

Special Category Award (2023): Honoured by the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council for her role as the Principal Assessor of NABH.

Research and Publications: Dr. Michael has published 44 national and international articles, 20 peer-reviewed pieces, and six manuscripts. She also co-authored a study on Urinary Tract Infection diagnostics published in the high-impact journal Nature Biomedical Engineering.
Emergency Leadership: Led a hospital evacuation during the 2015 Chennai floods and managed COVID-19 nursing care across the IHH network in India.

She is also affiliated with notable international organizations like the Midwest Nursing Research Society (MNRS) and Sigma Theta Tau, the Honor Society of Nursing (Eta Pi Chapter, USA). Also, Dr. Jothi serves as the board member of the British Journal of Nursing (UK & India) and the advisory board member for JCNE at CMCH. Her contributions to the nursing industry have helped many individuals and organizations to grow their prominence in this sector.
